MICROSOFT Expression Media upgrade to iView will be available June 1, 2007

May 31, 2007 - Microsoft Expression Media available in June 2007 iView customers are urged to visit iView site; make sure they’re eligible for free upgrade!

All registered customers of MediaPro (versions 3.0 and above) are eligible for a free digital download upgrade. On June 1st, registered users of MediaPro will receive an email with detailed download instructions for obtaining this free upgrade. The free upgrade offer ends on July 31.

Pricing details: Expression Media is free as a digital download upgrade to registered iView customers (owners of MediaPro 3.x who register their software with iView Multimedia) from June 1, 2007 – July 31, 2007.

For customers of earlier versions of MediaPro, Expression Media will be available for US$99 digital download upgrade from June 1, 2007 – July 31, 2007.

ADOBE RELEASES CAMERA RAW 4.1 and UPDATES THE DNG CONVERTER
May 30, 2007 - Adobe yesterday released version 4.1 of the Camera RAW plug-in for Photoshop CS3, Elements 4.01 (Mac) and Elements 5.0. The latest version adds support for the Canon EOS-1D Mark III, Fuji FinePix S5 Pro, Nikon D40X,  Olympus E-410, Olympus SP-550 UZ, Sigma SD14, Phase One H 20, Phase One H 25, Phase One P 20, Phase One P 21, Phase One P 25, Phase One P 30 and Phase One P 45. THIS VERSION IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH Photoshop CS2

The update also includes a new version of Adobe DNG converter which can convert all ACR supported RAW formats to Adobe's "universal" DNG format.

Canon's digital SLR software updated and a new RAW CODEC for Windows Vista released

Canon has released updates for almost all of the Mac and Windows applications that are typically provided with its digital SLR bodies.  In addition, Canon has released RAW Codec 1.0 for Windows Vista.   These updaters can be downloaded form the link provided below.  Please note:  You must have earlier Canon digital SLR software installed on you system for these updaters to work.
