March 29, 2006 -  Canon has released  firmware updates for the three new digital cameras the 30D the 5D and 1D Mk II N.  

EOS 30D firmware is updated to version  1.0.4 which fixes language display problems

EOS 5D is updated to version 1.0.5 which fixes a monochrome image bug and a problem with a combination of the EF 85 F1.2L and Speedlite 580EX

EOS-1D Mark II N is updated to version 1.0.4 which fixes a monochrome image bug and also an over-exposure problem when using Focusing Screen EC-S.
